You'll join a team dedicated to leading a project through completion from land acquisition and site planning to entitlement, engineering, and architecture and design, while ensuring the project is financially profitable.. The Development team at LC is seeking a talented team member to join us in bringing a community to life by leveraging a structured process to ensure the path from vision to reality is met. In this role, you'll lead the company's efforts to identify acquisition opportunities (both undeveloped and developed real estate), oversee and manage employees, brokers and independent contractors, and assist in leading the development team in their efforts to prove the financial viability of those acquisitions opportunities, enter into real estate purchase contracts, perform due diligence, plan the developments / redevelopments and take the properties through entitlement so that upon closing the company is ready to own and construct.. Make an impact through these primary responsibilities:. Performs complex financial analyses, including the development of cash flow projections, operating pro formas, and valuation models utilizing Argus and Excel.. Manages process and efficiency of operations from departments scope of work completion, hand-off of project to the field; incorporates a particular projects results as historical lessons for potential improvements for future projects.. Oversees process and procedure development for the pre-development department in local market as well as in new regions.. Works directly with the Senior Vice President of Capital Markets to evaluate and underwrite potential core, value-add, and opportunistic real estate acquisitions.. Review and analyzes investment offering materials and gather and evaluate economic and market data.. Leverage the following experience in pursuit of our collective goals:. Bachelor's degree in related field (engineering, construction management, architecture, real estate development).. 10+ years of professional experience, specifically in real estate acquisitions, asset management and real estate development..
