Picton West is working with a long established company in Waterlooville and together we are recruiting for an Administrator for a 6 month contract with the liklihood of going permanent.
The Administrator will work within a small team and provide administration support to the Operations Manager and Contract Managers.
The main duties of the role include:
Answering the phones
Printer - toner levels & first port of call if there is an error
Sorting Post & Sending Post
Updating the project list and keeping this accurate and current
Updating phone lists
Archiving of old project folders: Liaising with managers as to which ones can and can't be archived
Contract department meeting - minutes
Manage cupboard stock levels/carbon copy books
Fire extinguishers - sign in and out fire extinguishers, keeping records accurate, ordering extinguishers/labelling
Hyperlinking the Purchase Order List
Stock Management - keep stock list up to date, use up stock where possible
Keep operative cards on board up to date with their contact details and NOK
Operative Training - finding/booking courses (SSSTS/SMSTS/CSCS) & updating spreadsheet -
Sending out weekly KPIs
Weekly Activity Report & Location Summary
Assisting with Projects including booking transport, materials, keeping logs etc.
The successful Administrator will have a strong background in administration with high attention to detail. You will be able to work calmly under pressure and within a team. You will have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate at a variety of levels. You will be fully conversant with MS Office.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm with an hour for lunch. You can expect 29 days holiday including bank holidays and your Birthday off. The salary for the administrator is £17,750
