Our established and highly reputable client is seeking to recruit an additional Customer Service Administrator to join their friendly and busy team in Haywards Heath.

Key Tasks

  • Processing of incoming orders via telephone and post
  • Answering customer calls (Inbound)
  • Managing customer emails
  • Dealing with queries and complaints
  • Managing returns and credit requests for customer returns
  • Liaise with the Warehouse team on order fulfillment
  • Liaise with the Demand Planning team on stock availability
  • Liaise with Delivery partners on order delivery tracking
  • Liaise with Accounts departments regarding refunds/credit
  • Managing refunds and exchanges for consumer returns
  • Responding to customer comments posted on social media

Other duties:

  • Work in a consistent manner following ways of working that are developed and set by the Customer Service Manager. Set good personal standards particularly good timekeeping, office housekeeping, speed of delivering actions and smart and effective communications.

Key Skills/Knowledge

  • Proven experience and a desire to work in a customer service and sales-oriented environment
  • Be used to dealing with customers, processing orders, dealing with queries, managing complaints
  • Good telephone manner and a genuine liking for working with people
  • Experience dealing with web and mail order consumers preferable
  • PC literate with working knowledge MS office Outlook and Excel
  • Accurate with good attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Ability to work well with a small team
  • Flexible attitude and approach
  • Enjoys working in a small team
