A fantastic opportunity is now available for a talented Digital Design Manager to join my leading tech client, who are based South Norfolk (easily commutable from Norwich and Ipswich)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Digital Design Manager to join an established and award-winning creative team, helping to take some well-known global brands to the next level. Reporting to the Head of Client Services, you'll be working closely with and managing an inhouse digital design team of three and will be responsible for all aspects of the visual identity of the company's clients and their brands.

You will ideally have agency experience under your belt and be familiar with both digital and traditional marketing techniques.

What you will be doing:

The Digital Design Manager will be principally be responsible for the creation of designs that will work across multiple channels and devices including, mobile and desktop sites, email, social media, infographics and interactive content, ensuring that the user experience is consistent and using the latest digital design techniques.

A key part of the role will be managing the work load of the Design Team, ensuring efficiency and productivity on every job. You will provide excellent support facilitating effective and efficient delivery of best creative work.

You will provide support and creative direction for branding and marketing campaigns. Using your creative and technical abilities, you will be able to adeptly create mock ups to demonstrate the potential of ideas and subsequently be able to take a design from concept to production across a variety of media.

You will gather feedback from key stakeholders and clients on a regular basis to ensure that all design output meets or beats their expectations and is consistently delivered to the highest possible standard.

You will be passionate about digital design and be expected to keep your design and technology skills up to date. You will be supportive of the rest of the team and willing to adapt your workflow and tasks in order to deliver to the highest possible standards and meet deadlines.

This is a very fast-paced environment and the ability to think on your feet and quickly adapt to any client or project changes is essential.

•You will fully understand the importance of work scheduling across the team, implementing and maintaining efficient and affective workflow planning and distribution.
• You will be responsible for all work going through the team, ensuring all briefs are full, complete and clear, and that all design work is delivered on time, and within budget.
•You will be responsible for liaising and communicating daily with other areas of the business such as Client Services and Delivery as well as managing relationships with 3rd party suppliers such as production/print or external agencies.
•You will be able to manage multiple projects such as sourcing suppliers to negotiating costs, and any desing requirements during busy periods, as well as spotting and solving problems in work schedules and project delivery.
•You will work closely with the Client Business Partner and Digital Marketing Manager to ensure deadlines are met and that the team are constantly delivering exceptional ROI to their stakeholders.

Proficient in:
•Typesetting & Design Layout
•Adobe CC Creative
•JavaScript Implementation
•Strong UI principles and with UX mindset
•Motion graphics, and an excellent understanding of digital design platforms and resolutions
•Using a CMS for updating the website with text and graphics

Skills and attributes required:

•Proven digital design experience (ideally a minimum of 5 years), plus strong portfolio
•A background in print/digital/production and strong project management skills
•Ability to apply a forward-thinking approach to the role, displayed by a positive, proactive attitude
•Previous team or people management
•Strong time management skills, outstanding organisational and analytical skills
•Ability to multi task while working to deadline yet still retaining a professional approach
•Excellent interpersonal skills, and the confidence and experience in working to deadlines
•Ability to work flexibly to deliver client needs
•A self-motivated, agile thinker
•Able to present effective written and verbal communications
•Proven ability to identify and adapt output for a given audience
•Collaborative team player, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, delivering to tight deadlines
