Either based in Oxfordshire, or France, fluency in French is required.
Your responsibilities will include both new and existing business.
Identifying new business opportunities you will develop relationships with new customers, and explore customer requirements to develop an extensive knowledge of customers' applications and research networks; and promote the range of products.
In addition to developing your in-depth understanding of my client's products, you will be required to undertake market research to gain intelligence on competitor products and market developments.
Where enquiries are received you will follow these up promptly and efficiently.
Working closely with the Sales Manager for EMEAI, you will ensure they are aware of progress, opportunities and developments.
In addition to customer visits, you will also attend trade shows and exhibitions within your territory and product sectors.
Ideally you will be familiar with CRM systems to enable you to maintain and update all CRM data.
Working with the service team you will respond to customer issues while tracking and maintaining awareness of all open customer issues for your territory.
The role requires regular travel to customer sites throughout the designated territory, and therefore requires a candidate who can commit to regular stays away from home. This will equal approximately 50% of your time.
As the successful candidate you will have achieved a minimum of Bachelors Degree in Material Science, Nano Science or Physics. Preference will be given to those with a Masters or PhD.
Candidates who can speak fluent French will be at an advantage.
As the successful candidate you will be familiar with nano-sciences and ideally have some experience providing product support, or sales of similar products.
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK and hold a full driving licence. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.
