Senior Asset Management Consultant

Salary: up to £75,000 dependent on experience + Car Allowance & Benefits

I have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced senior consultant to join a leading consultancy practice which acts for blue chip clients across the UK, particularly in the M4 corridor. This niche consultancy has a clear focus and excellent track record in assisting clients to maximise value from investment in their existing or new physical asset base.

The Role
You will join a team of experienced, ambitious and forward-looking Consultants and Engineers and have an opportunity to be an integral part of the senior team and the ongoing development of the business.

Projects vary in nature, scope and objectives but the central task is delivering advice to clients in order for them to extract maximum value from proposed capital equipment spend and existing assets. This might be advice in product specification/placement/configuration, a wider review of options/alternatives or in supporting the organizational change required to deliver anticipated benefits. We utilise proprietary approaches and technology to inform our advice which ultimately helps us to identify areas of significant saving and enhancement for the client.

We are currently seeking a proactive Senior Asset Management Consultant as a key member of the team. You will be an experienced Asset Management practitioner with the personal qualities to become the principal contact for one of our key clients. You will have a high level of client contact and be an integral and senior member of the project delivery team.

Your specific responsibilities will differ on each project, which typically cover areas such as development and implementation of Asset Management Frameworks and Target Operating Models, leading data capture and analysis, fault and root cause analysis, running/facilitating workshops, financial/operational modelling and reporting (via meetings, presentations and written reports). You will be leading projects, manage the overall client relationship and support business development.

The Candidate
You will need to be educated to at least degree level in an engineering or related discipline, may well have further qualifications and be a member of a professional body such as the Institute of Asset Management.

You will be an experienced Asset Management practitioner with 5+ years as a consultant in a relevant field or via a senior position in a manufacturing, Oil and Gas or other organisation with complex industrial assets. You will have led the implementation of Asset Management improvement programmes for large clients, be familiar with PAS55/ISO 55000 and have experience in leading projects to optimise maintenance and performance using RCM, RCA, FMEA and other such techniques. You will also have the personal qualities for clients to be comfortable with you as their principal point of contact and the ability to develop strong relationships with both existing and new clients.

You will need the right to work in the UK, hold a full UK driving license and be happy with travel/regular overnight stays - as much of the consulting is done on client sites.

If this is you and you are seeking a new challenge with more seniority, variety, problem solving and client contact then I'd encourage you to apply.

We are acting as a Recruitment Consultancy for this role.
