Client-side Building Surveyor

Your new role will be with a leading family estate with rich history, who specialise in commercial and residential real estate. They own and manage a wide-ranging portfolio in the office, retail, and residential sectors; ranging from large modern offices to extraordinary historical buildings.
Your new role
You will walk into this job with a high level of autonomy and the freedom to run your own high-profile projects. You will identify when works to a property is needed alongside ensuring that all works comply with the Building Regulations Act and with health and safety. Liaising with occupying tenants and the ability to chair progress meetings and works on site is also key.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will need a degree in Building Surveying or a HNC in Building Studies and ideally be Chartered (MRICS or MCIOB). In previous roles you will have had experience with dilapidations, planned and reactive maintenance and Health and Safety compliance. You will also have a good understanding of the construction and refurbishment industry alongside being commercially minded.
