Schedule Full-time Primary Location United States-Arkansas-Corporate Remote Organization Homecare Directs the overall operations of more than one provider number. Responsible for agency programs according to approved policies, procedures and standards. Maintains the image of the agencies in the communities the agencies serve, and in state and national organizations. Keeps the agencies abreast of local, state and national trends. Qualifications 1. A licensed physician; or 2. A Registered Nurse; or 3. Has training and experience in health service administration and at least one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or related health programs. 4. Demonstrates a working knowledge of regulations and reimbursement in home health care. 5. Demonstrates expertise in personnel management, leadership, and financial management. 6. Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as, user names and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop, including starting programs, using files, and windows, effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs. Louisiana Specific: 1. Licensed physician, registered nurse, or college graduate with bachelor's degree who has three (3) years of documented management experience in health care delivery service; or 2. A person who is not a registered nurse or who does not have a bachelor's degree may qualify by having three (3) additional years of documented management experience in a health care delivery service (for a total of six (6) years of documented management experience). 3. Must be a full-time salaried employee, employed by only one agency. May serve agencies when they are located less than 50 miles apart and each has less than 300 unduplicated admissions per year. Tennessee Specific: 1. A licensed physician with at least one (1) year supervisory or administrative experience in home health care, hospice care or related health programs; or 2. A Registered Nurse with at least one (1) year supervisory or administrative experience in home health care, hospice care or related health programs; or 3. Has training and experience in health service administration and at least one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care, hospice care or related health programs. Oklahoma Specific: 1. An individual who functions as a home care administrator shall meet the Department standards for certification and hold a home care administrator certificate. Proof of current certification for each administrator and alternate shall be posted in a conspicuous place at each licensed agency. Texas Specific: 1. Be a licensed physician, a registered nurse, licensed social worker, licensed therapist or licensed nursing home administrator or have a high school diploma or GED, training and experience in health service administration. 2. Be able to read, write and comprehend English 3. Not have been employed in the last year as an administrator with another agency at the time the agency was cited with violations of the stature of this chapter that resulted in enforcement actions taken against the agency. 4. Not have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor 5. Complete a minimum of six clock hours per year of continuing education in subjects related to the duties of the administrator.
