Mortgage Administrator (or Apprentice)

£17,000 to £19,250 per annum + competitive benefits package

The Role

This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent administration/customer service skills who is seeking an interesting, varied role in financial services. As a key member of our Mortgages team you will be assisting in processing our mortgage applications from initial application to completion. Full training will be provided and there are professional study opportunities for the successful applicant. Examples of daily activities will include:-

  • Accurate data input into bespoke data management systems and Excel
  • Written communication via email and by letter to customers and contacts
  • Telephone communication (both internal and to customers/contacts)
  • General office administration

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of working in an administrative capacity within an office environment
  • Good computer/IT knowledge (Word, Excel etc.)
  • The ability to react quickly, calmly and professionally in a busy office
  • A can-do attitude and active team player prepared to "go the extra mile"
  • A minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C (or equivalent) is required for this position.
