Compliance Manager, Global Funds Company, IFSC, €70,000 - €85,000
Your new company
Your new company are a boutique global funds company based in the IFSC Dublin 1. They are well known for their unique client services and their innovative approach and have multiple awards both from the industry and for recognition of their commitment to staff development.
They are seeking an ambitious Compliance Manager to join the Dublin office and join up with the global offices across the EU and North America.
Your new role
Your new role as the Compliance Manager will task you with leading the department of five compliance staff. You will be responsible for advising on complex compliance issues and regulatory matters while also planning and delivering compliance reporting to senior management and the board of directors. You will be responsible for the delivery of all compliance services to clients and will be the main point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders.
As the department manager you will be responsible for the successful running of the department, ensuring all monitoring, reporting and testing is up to date and successfully delivered.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in a similar role ideally within the Irish Funds Industry or if not the UK industry and a understanding of the regulatory systems. You will have managed a team of at least 4 in the past within a Compliance Function. You will have experience with FATCA compliance and ideally have some exposure to offshore funds and international regulation. You will be coming from a strong academic background and hold a industry recognised qualification.
You will need to be a motivated and driven individual, with a strong attention to detail who can manage and drive forward the compliance department.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a base salary of €70,000 - €85,000 depending on your experience. The role would include a number of benefits including health care and the tax saver incentive. You will be working along senior management of a global funds company giving you expose to key clients and stakeholders in the organisation.
