Based in Leeds and reporting to the MD, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development or Sales Executive to join their friendly and collaborative team.

With a thirst to develop your commercial acumen, you will quickly become the key interface between the internal team and the customer, building vital business relationships across this niche market.

This role will see you getting 'out and about' amongst the customers to understand the key drivers of sales, whilst using your excellent communication skills to build effective industry relationships. We're looking for a proactive team player with a strong work ethic and great team spirit to match the companies dynamic company culture.

The Business Development Manager will:

* Build new business within the area of security and facilities management

* Developing new working relationships and opportunities to achieve sales growth

* Confidently and effectively engaging with customers face to face, over the telephone and e-mail

* Operating within the company strategies to deliver on-target goals

* Setting and agreeing annual sales budgets

* Setting strategies to effectively grow the business

The Business Development Manager will need:

* Excellent sales and closing skills

* Excellent time management

* The ability to build solid relationships

* Ability to work as a part of a team as well as being self-motivated

* IT proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

* Good ‘can do’ positive attitude with a strong work ethic

* Well organized, Reliable, Confident & Enthusiastic

Experience (Essential)

* Possess a minimum of 2 years external sales experience.

* Demonstrable background in winning new business and growing existing account

* Previous experience in face-to-face sales business to business environment

* Excellent communicator both written & verbal
