Finance Business Partner (ref: SUS2577)

£35,038 per annum

Maternity cover - 37.5 hours per week- based in Bristol

The exciting challenges of this role include the provision of a comprehensive, proactive and strategic finance partnership to managers, the development of effective working relationships with, and operate as a key member of, the management team and to support, influence and challenge the management team using knowledge and understanding of the charity to effect finance management solutions to complex organisational problems.

Educated to degree level or equivalent and part-qualified in Chartered accountancy - ICAEW, CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA - you will have substantial experience in a related position and proven experience of providing finance advice and support to budget holders. You will also have experience of the preparation of budgets and management accounts and in the interpretation of accounts. You will be accurate, organised and methodical, be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines whilst using your excellent communications and interpersonal skills to building effective working relationships. You will also have knowledge and an understanding of accounting principles. A knowledge of accounting for charities and committed to the promotion of sustainable transport would be an advantage.
