Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, NY. Research, design, implement and maintain market making and risk management algorithms. Develop new research infrastructure for efficient data mining and develop new tools to analyze the performance of pricing algorithms. Perform quantitative analysis on large amounts of pricing, volume and transaction data. Design, implement and maintain real-time automated trading systems including those with strict performance requirements in terms of high availability, fault tolerance, latency and throughput. Support daily FX electronic trading activities. Discuss new research ideas with traders.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related degree with a focus on Statistics. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related position with financial industry specific knowledge and experience handling large data sets. Must have three (3) years of experience with: developing high performance, multi-threaded, memory efficient computation models and tools using object oriented languages such as C++ and/or Java; performing quantitative analysis and model development using advanced econometric, statistical and/or mathematical techniques, including Bayesian analysis, time series analysis, and machine learning algorithms; performing statistical analysis on large financial dataset and experience in database design, management and processing using SQL; applying knowledge of financial markets and market microstructure to build trading strategies; fluent in statistical programming languages such as R and /or Python; and working in a fast-paced environment. FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
