Apprentice Administrator - Employment Support Team
Fixed Term for 24 months
Location: Barking, IG11 8PG
Salary: £7.83 per hour, £14,251 per annum
The Employment Support Team sits within the Independent Lives Pillar of the L&Q Foundation. The successful candidate will join a busy, thriving team where flexibility and a hard working attitude will be key!
The team prides itself on helping our residents into sustainable employment and the successful candidate will be a key part of the team. You will work closely with 15 Employment Support Officers and support their administration. The role will require some travel, so flexibility in this is key.
The role reports to the Employment Support Team Leader, you will learn multiple Administrative duties and you will be required to liaise with our internal and external customers, which will require you to have strong communication skills.
As an Apprentice Administrator, you will learn:
- Delivery of excellent customer service to our Residents, internal and external stakeholders.
- Gain experience of working within a fast paced, Employment Support team and learn about European Social Fund (ESF) funded programmes.
- General Administration duties, including data imputing to our systems
- Good IT Skills
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
- Self motivated
- Good communication skills
- Keen eye for detail
In this role you will have the support you need to learn and develop into an Administrator. You will be given allocated study time during working hours to complete your Business Administration qualification, which is funded by the academy.

- You can't have a degree in a related field
