Are you passionate about using your fundraising skills to grow gospel impact in London? Are you excited about inspiring people to be a part of urban mission, through making significant gifts and through prayer?

We are looking for a Relationships Officer to inspire people to partner with London City Mission so more people can hear about Jesus.

About Us

London City Mission, together with churches in London, shares the gospel in word and action with those on the margins. BECAUSE LONDON NEEDS JESUS.

We have over 100 missionaries and support staff on the ground across London serving the needs of the local church and reaching people unlikely to hear the transformative message of the gospel.

About You

You are a fundraiser with a heart for the gospel.
You inspire people. You take joy in building relationships. You get excited when people understand the part they can play in furthering the gospel. You're passionate about using your skills to help the least reached in London hear the good news of Jesus.
You have experience in fundraising, which includes successfully raising funds from major donors.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role

You will manage relationships with a group of major donors, inspiring support that leads to long-term partnership with London City Mission. You will ensure good stewardship of these relationships through regular communications and reporting. You will help to coordinate involvement of staff across the organisation in the programme and support the work of the wider Fundraising and Supporter Relations team.

The Relationships Officer role is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated fundraiser to make a significant difference in enabling LCM to share the gospel with more people.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), permanent appointment. Flexible or working part-time will be considered.

There is an occupational requirement that the person appointed be an evangelical Christian.

(Salary: £26,905 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience.)
