We Offer
  • Communication with GC Litigation and Investigations colleagues to ensure that regular communication takes place with regard to open and ongoing matters
  • Collaboration with GC Litigation and Investigations colleagues to ensure thorough fact finding where control remediation, misconduct, supervision failures or regulatory interaction is concerned
  • Manage and run investigations in accordance with the functions Global Handbook and the Global Policy GP-00094, including a consideration of scope of review to understand / uncover the extent of the concerned issue, conducting of interviews, email and document reviews, and drafting of the relevant reports to document fact-finding and analysis
  • Assist with the timely delivery of investigations reporting on a regular basis to assist in the smooth running of all applicable Divisional Boards
  • Ensure where necessary that all costs associated with investigations are adequately tracked, recorded and reported
  • Identifying and collating lessons learnt from identified / investigated failures in the execution or design of the bank's compliance processes and controls against relevant risk themes
  • Assist in the "end-to-end" remediation process in the jurisdiction and across other jurisdictions in the following aspects:
    • Assist with the implementation of lessons learned analysis for applicable cases without delay

You Offer
  • A Bachelors degree or comparable work experience
  • Knowledge and experience of compliance and regulatory investigations preferred but not essential and candidates with broader experience in Audit and general Legal, Compliance or forensic investigation will be considered
  • Excellent analytical, management and presentation skills, solid interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, flexible and precise
  • A high degree of diligence in working with sensitive and confidential data, analytical and conceptual thinking, ability to work efficiently, pragmatically and independently
  • Sound understanding of banking and financial services including regulatory framework and expectations
