We are delighted to be partnering with one of the U.K's most well-loved children's charities to find a new Philanthropy Fundraiser for their growing team. The role is great for a person looking start or develop their fundraising journey as part of a vibrant and exciting charity.Job Title: Philanthropy FundraiserOrganisation: Action For ChildrenSalary: £25,000 - £28,000Location: LondonContract: PermanentAbout the CharityAction for Children are an incredible charity who help disadvantaged children throughout the UK. They are the largest supplier of social care services in the UK and provide amazing support for children and families from all backgrounds including children with disabilities, those who have been fostered or adopted, young carers and those who need help with employability and training. The charity intervene early to stop neglect and abuse and they make life better for children with disabilities by influencing policy and advocate for change.About the RoleNew and exciting changes at the charity have led to an operating model based on a values based approach. The Philanthropy Fundraiser will be situated in the smaller value Philanthropy team where the focus is on generating gifts between £5000 and £150,000 from trusts, foundations and high net worth individuals.The Philanthropy Fundraiser will be an essential part of securing future pipeline and building on an established portfolio. You will need to be a confident and driven individual who feels comfortable approaching and developing relationships face to face whilst maintaining an ability to write detailed and quality proposals to Trusts and Grant Givers.You will be line management by a Philanthropy Manager and together you will be the smaller value Philanthropy team.
