Prospectus are delighted to be working with one of the UK's leading healthcare regulators, dedicated to supporting professionals to deliver the highest quality of care to patients across the UK. They are looking to recruit two Governance Mangers to provide and exceptional service to the organisations Council and Committees whilst delivering the highest level of Governance. This is an exciting opportunity for a Governance Officer looking to take the next step up in their career as well as an individual with more established experience.Reporting to the Head of Governance, you will provide effective secretariat support to the Council, Board and Committee. As the organisations Governance Manager, you will work collaboratively with the wider governance team to ensure the highest standard of governance and compliance with legal and charitable requirements. The post holder will ensure the smooth conduct of Committee/Board business together with providing high quality secretariat support to a range of meetings. As the Governance Manager, you will also lead on the planning, implementation and evaluation of Council and Committee member recruitment and reappointment. You will be required to build and maintain productive working relationships with professional networks, identifying and sharing excellent practice. With line management responsibility, the Governance Manager will oversee a variety of administrative duties handled by governance officers. The successful candidate will be a proven professional with previous governance experience providing high quality member support services and undertaking secretariat functions. With exceptional communication skills, you will have the ability to build productive relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You will be able to use your own initiative along with the ability to work independently and proactively, prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations quickly. Being highly customer focused, you will also have the ability to effectively respond to changing demands and work seamlessly under pressure.
