We are looking for a DevOps Engineers, with a leaning more towards the development aspects of the role (with slightly less focus on infrastructure/operations), someone who can break down complex processes/procedures and into more manageable chunks and that solutions make use of reusability, to come in and help the DevOps culture in the company which is in its infancy in regard to DevOps. The company is a Java Development environment, and you will have a genuine passion for modern IT practices, and adaptable to changing priorities, requirements, and technologies. DevOps Engineer - The key skills, experience and responsibilities:
Multiple OS environments (Linux, Windows, etc.)
Experience with AWS
Good Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Maven
Experience of CI/CD DevOps pipelines
Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.)
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker Swarm, etc.)
Config Management, Virtualization & Scripting (BASH, PowerShell, etc.)
Linux & Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnets, VLANs, routing and switching, etc.)
Reverse Proxy management
Automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure
Support innovation and engage with suppliers and consultants around technical solutions, requirements & best practices
Assist with DevOps culture adoption
