Working within a busy office, this is a very hands on HR position giving full support across the site. This will suit a HR Generalist looking for a new opportunity for the New Year. As a doer, you will be involved across the board from Recruitment to Payroll to Appraisals and Disciplinaries offering great variety in your role. You will also be accountable for the HR Compliance of the site with up to date Laws and Regulatory obligations.
A professional office will suit a professional who enjoys a quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle on the shop floor. There will be no direct reports in this position.
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
Full compliance of HR function
Production of HR statistical and information reports for Senior Management Team on a monthly basis
Updating HR Policies as and when required and communicating/training to all Management team.
Recruitment of Temporary and Permanent staff including sourcing and management of Agency contracts.
Controlling Time and Attendance system
Managing monthly payroll and reconciliation of overtime
Managing the site's apprenticeship programme
Review Annual Appraisals
Co-ordination of the company's training plan
Fully supporting enforcement of the Group's Grievance, Disciplinary and redundancy policies.
Ongoing reviews of HR policy to ensure up to date and compliant
Day to day support for whole site in line with HR
We are keen to talk to you if you can offer:
CIPD membership (desirable)
Educated to degree level
5 years experience in a similar role
Comprehensive knowledge of HR systems
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Positive Can Do attitude
