Hays is Proud to represent the UK's Health Specialists with a new IT role. As the Integration Consultant you will be a key part within the IT team and enabling processes to come together on one platform. This exiting role is looking for the Inquisitive and curios individual with the knowledge and know-how of Integration.

Requirements

. Master's Degree or equivalent experience in public service setting
. Evidence of on-going continuous professional development
. Ability to work within a strategic context and communicate how activities meet strategic goals. You can contribute to the development of strategy and policies.
. Azure fundamentals Skills/Knowledge. Knowledge and understanding of the public service IT systems
. Ability to maintain and build good professional relationships with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds
. Ability to organise and prioritise tasks and deliver to timetables.
. Ability to understand, amend and work with complex documentation.
. Ability to own an issue until a new owner has been found or the problem has been mitigated or resolved
. Structured approach to documentation with the ability to produce relevant reports in a standard format in an agreed timeframe. You work with important stakeholders to discuss any changes in the reporting processes. You know how to add a commentary that provides an interpretation for the data set.
. Ability in both a technical setting and non-technical setting to analyse complex situations, interpreting information on hand to compare and develop a range of options
. Knowledge of project management philosophy with the ability to coordinate, plan and execute projects with wide-ranging and complicated interrelationships. Able to deliver projects on time and within budget.
. Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate complex information and technically difficult information from multiple sources and communicating this to a wide variety of audiences bother in terms of understanding and seniority.
. Good problem-solving skills, including imaginative in finding solutions using different mechanisms.
. Ability to identify process optimisation opportunities with guidance and contribute to the implementation of proposed solutions. This will include writing new policies and long-term plans which will impact the whole organisation
. Ability to generate and analyse business cases and budgets in relation to Trust needs and priorities.
. In-depth knowledge of integration of systems with a strong background in these technologies
. Understands approaches to continuous quality improvement
. Understanding the NHS agenda and long-term plan
. Experience of mentoring staff.

Experience

. Experience in the development of new interfaces or integrations across organisational boundaries
. Extensive knowledge of specialist areas/disciplines, eg, technical integration of IT systems, performance management, staff management, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge
. Demonstrable experience of setting and implementing long term plans to achieve objectives and targets
. Demonstrable experience of testing new technologies to assess usability for the organisation.
. Experience of working across the health economy or working with multiple organisations/across boundaries
. Demonstrable experience of advising of changes to policies and writing new policies which have an impact on the whole Trust.
. Demonstrable experience of making judgements on complex problems where there is no precedent.
. Demonstrable experience of contract management and procurement.
. Proven experience in following strict procurement guidelines to ensure the budget is spent on suitable resources.
. Self-confident and enthusiastic.
. Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility effectively.
. Good organisational skills - ability to tackle more than one task at once.
