Graduate Software Developer/Configuration Analyst - C#

Our client, a leading London Market insurer are looking for a Graduate Software Developer/Configuration Analyst to work as a key part of underwriting rating engine config team, used by Underwriters to price risks using Rulebook.

This role is responsible for developing, testing and deploying pricing models using standard best practice with respect to governance and source control, as well as providing the pricing actuaries and underwriters with advice and guidance on how best to exploit the capabilities of the system.

Requirements include;

  • Graduate Software Developer/Junior Software Engineer

Ideally with some:

  • Experience in software configuration or support (either academically or in a commercial setting)
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Expert in end user tools - Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic macros, etc.

This is a permanent role based in London, hybrid working from home 3 days per week and in the office 2 days per week paying up to £35,000 + bonus & benefits
