An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Legal Cashier to join the Neath Office. Solid experience of office and client account transactions is essential, ideally within a Law environment. Previous experience in a managerial position preparing finance reports and preparing for reports/audits is a bonus but not essential.
Working knowledge of VAT, payroll and bookkeeping.
Produce VAT returns from raw data.
Take the book keeping to a trial balance position.
Purchase ledger and sales ledger processing.
Report preparation and distribution.
Preparing data and processing on SAGE Line 50.
Reconciling supplier statements and liaising with suppliers regarding queries/issues.
Calculating and processing accruals/prepayments.
Raising and distributing purchase orders in line with company procedure.
Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders/contracts.
Processing supplier invoices.
Posting bank transactions across all ledgers.
Raising Sales Ledger invoices in line with contracts and distributing in line with company procedures and customer specific requirements.
Produce financial information required to make tax and statutory filings (e.g. VAT and CIS).
Collating and filing of financial paperwork.
Produce cash flow statements, monthly management accounts, and preparing custom reports when required.
General Finance Administrative Work.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Provide ad-hoc general administrative support to any area of the organisation when directed.
Previous experience of Accountancy software
Competent at using the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs e.g. Excel.
Previous experience working in a finance environment.
Positive and Enthusiastic Attitude.
Confident working on own initiative.

The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, require us to keep work-seeker records for at least one year from the date of their creation or after the date on which we last provide work-finding services. Where applicable, we must also keep payroll records, holiday pay, sick pay and pensions auto-enrolment records for as long as is legally required by HMRC and associated national minimum wage, social security and tax legislation.
As an individual, you have several rights in respect to the processing of your personal data, all of which can be reviewed on our website.
