Digital Tagging and Analytics Manager - Edinburgh - up to £60K plus benefits (Remote working)

This is a permanent position with a financial services organisation in the UK. Reporting to the Content Management Lead, you will Champion, drive, take up and leverage Web Analytics across the organisation. Subsequently enhancing the digital experience through driving business and customer value off the back of actionable insight. You will be responsible for the design, planning, implementation and management of tagging, analytics and optimisation across the company's digital estate. You will also be responsible for configuring and distributing reports with the analytics tool, to measure and optimise activities on the digital estate.

You'll work closely with Digital, Marketing, Digital Engineering, Data Science and Analytics to deliver robust and efficient tagging services as well as data and insights off the back of the reports.

What you need to do:

Lead tagging strategy and implementation across the company's digital estate

Work closely with Digital Engineering on safe and efficient test and deploy of tags (primarily for analytics and monitoring tools, but also for tag triggered events such as chatbot initiations)

Build dashboards for business users to self-serve their reporting needs

Support and facilitate access to self-serve portals (managing user access, groups, users, permissions)

Configure behavioural targeting systems for personalisation and targeting

Create and leverage A/B, MVT and segmentation testing to provide data driven future recommendations

Support a backlog of regular, automated reporting requests and also a backlog of ad hoc one-off queries

Produce and deliver monthly digital click stream dashboards to the wider business

Identify opportunities to improve engagement, conversions & increase sales

Analysing and provide insight on the performance of marketing channels and campaigns

What you need to know and show:

Experienced with Web Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google analytics

Experience of tag management systems such as Telium, Adobe Tag Manager, Google Tag Manager

A data driven individual with extensive experience in an analytical role

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to model, forecast and evaluate

Extremely inquisitive, always looking to find out why

Enthusiastic to learn new tools, programs and skills

A problem solver who will relentlessly find a solution

Experienced with Excel (essential) with a desire to learn/develop other analytical programs
