Oversee programmes budgets, working alongside partners to ensure that they are appropriately preparing and monitoring budgets, managing cashflow, and recording expenditure accurately.
Work with partners to ensure that they are grant compliant.
Oversee the preparation of financial reports, working alongside the UK-based programmes team and partners overseas.
Coordinate and support in donor due diligence and grant audits.
Provide financial oversight of partners, undertaking financial monitoring and capacity building visits as required, and supporting with the due diligence process of assessing any new partners.
Qualified or part-qualified accountant, with hands on experience in financial accounting, financial management & reporting within an international organisation.
Demonstrated experience of assessing and building the capacity of partners/programmes overseas.
Excellent IT & systems skills, knowledge of Quickbooks and PS Financials
Excellent command of the English language, both in a written and oral capacity, French or Spanish are desirable.
Strong business partnering skills, working respectfully with staff and colleagues from different cultures
