ADARMA Security are looking for a Senior IT Engineer with experience providing complex IT project delivery, technical support and system administration. Typical responsibilities may range from managing, troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure, application and security incidents, as well as acting as an escalation point for any technical issues. The Senior IT Engineer will also be required to provide excellent customer support for different types of technologies including, but not limited to, Office365, AWS and Microsoft technologies. The role is based from our Edinburgh office with ability for hybrid working.

What you'll do

Provide hands on technical hardware and software support, manage and deliver complex IT projects, alongside managing, coaching and mentoring members of the IT team in procedures, technical troubleshooting and emergency response. You will develop, review and update IT policies and procedures within onboarding, offboarding as well as IT security, test new systems and provide insight of future technologies that may be beneficial to Adarma.

How you'll grow

We have a strong culture of learning and development, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to grow in your specialist area and beyond. In time, you could progress to Head of IT or venture into a deeper career within cyber security, for example a Security Engineering role.

What you'll bring

You will be experienced in delivering complex IT projects, incident management and hold an expert level of technical understanding. Equally you'll be confident in managing others and relaying your knowledge to them through mentoring and coaching. We'd love to see experience of the following technologies: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Windows Server and Azure AD, Jamf Pro MDM, and Mac/macOS. A computer science related degree and/or equivalent industry experience is essential.

Experience and/or certifications in the following technologies would be nice to have:

  • Jamf Pro
  • AWS
  • Microsoft Azure/Office 365
  • Anti-Malware/Security monitoring
