Clinical Systems Trainer required to work for a public sector organisation on a 6-month Fixed Month Contract, paying between £27,055 - £32,943 annually (this will be pro-rated for the 6-month period). Hybrid working (combination of home, Trinity House (Ashford) and regular travel to sites across Kent).

Job Summary
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the EPMA Project Lead and EPMA Pharmacist within the Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration Project. You will liaise between the external Supplier and internal Training, Change and Configuration teams to understand changes to clinical/business processes and ensure they are communicated effectively to end users through training.

It will be your responsibility to ensure that you have a thorough understanding of system configuration and business processes. The post holder will produce and deliver high quality training courses and support materials in line with project timelines (via in person events (across Kent)/virtual events or E-learning).

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for working closely with the EPMA Project Lead and Clinical Transformation/Configuration Analysts within the EPMA Project Team to understand the new EPMA system and process changes for specific clinical services and train users on these changes.
  • Supporting the supplier provided training team with the development of training courses for staff in the use of the EPMA clinical application and systems incorporating relevant organisational values, objectives, policies and procedures to support the application and its use.
  • The post holder will produce and deliver high quality training courses and support materials in line with project timelines (via in person events (across Kent)/virtual events or E-learning).
  • Co-ordinate and collate training configuration and process queries for review with the wider EPMA project team.
  • Ensure that a consistent high-quality responsive EPMA training solution is provided to the Trust and organisations within the local health community as appropriate.
  • Advice to users when floorwalking.

Essential Experience
  • Experience of training groups of learners with variable skill levels, managing group dynamics to ensure a positive outcome.
  • Experience of designing and delivering training courses
  • Experience of facilitating change within an health care organisation or similar environment.
  • Experience of organising and successfully delivering workshops.
  • Ability to manage resistance to change from delegates in the training room.
  • Ability to present well-reasoned and structured argument in order to influence and persuade others over whom the postholder may have no formal authority.
  • Ability to manage resources to deliver training to set timescales.

Essential Skills
  • Excellent knowledge of training techniques through practical application.
  • Excellent knowledge of change management techniques through practical application.
  • Understanding of how integrated systems can improve communication, reduce risk and support the delivery of enhanced patient care.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
