Your new company
This specialist software business offers a powerful and ever-evolving ERP product to customers which has established them as leaders in the field. They have thrived through Covid and following a company acquisition and are now looking to further expand.
They run a complete dealer management system designed with specific trades in mind, aimed primarily at the motorcycle, caravan and agricultural industries.
They help dealers manage all areas of their business operations from parts and service, through to sales and finance, with innovative solutions to achieve their business objectives.
This role is offered UK remote.
Your new role
You will be responsible for developing high quality and robust software, developing a dealership management solution, using a mix of modern programming languages and techniques as well as maintaining a large Legacy codebase.
Collaboration is key as you will be working as a part of a development team, following agile methods agreed by the team. You will review code created/edited by other developers, ensuring that the code conforms to coding standards, matches the documented requirements, and does not introduce defects.
You will work closely with the QA team to ensure features and defect resolutions match corresponding test scenarios. A key part of your role will be ensuring code components pass continual delivery testing and resolve any identified defects.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate must have experience with Angular, PHP and SQL. The role is best suited for someone who is passionate about creating and maintaining quality software, who has an understanding of the workflow in development and is a good problem solver.
Experience with C# and the .NET framework is desirable but not essential. Someone who is looking to develop their skills and learn new languages would be an ideal fit for the role. The right person will be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels internally and externally. You will be working with a team so a committed and respectful person would fit into this collaborative environment.
