A business facing, Investment Data Analyst is required by a leading, medium sized firm who is experiencing unprecedented growth, backed by sustained revenue generation. You will join their Research and Analytics group as they grow and diversify into new ESG and Fixed Income product areas, and use your understanding of financial and market data to improve the quality of client reports and publications through the identification and integration of the most pertinent financial data.

The role is Hybrid with c. 2 days in the office, the rest WFH/Remote working.

The role is communication focussed, working with Quants, Research Analysts, data engineers etc. to improve and integrate data the business need. The purpose of the role is to be the SME within the Research and Analytics team, raising the standard of both written Research itself, data-visualisation Dashboards, conference presentations, etc.

There is also the opportunity for those interested in working with IT development to design and produce a new Python based model framework, ensuring that Research gets the tools it needs and model accuracy on point. They are interested in talking to people with a strong background in the modelling and integration of financial data (Equites, Fixed Income, Indexes etc) So that you both understand the data-level technical aspects as well as understanding the business so that you can ensure content is pertinent.

You will also have experience of much of the following:

  • Experience with integrating data and the publishing processes, including management of data flow and publishing templates
  • Knowledge of publishing software with Microsoft Publisher and PowerPoint preferred
  • Microsoft Office is required, with emphasis on data processing within a publishing environment
  • Familiarity with data processing and visualization software preferred, Tableau etc.
