Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager - Hybrid (2 days in London) - up to £80K plus fantastic bonus
My client is a globally known online trading brand who are listed on the LSE, part of the FTSE 250 and regulated by the FSA. As the business expands, they need more support in Marketing and this role has needs someone that can work collaboratively with senior marketing stakeholders and drive planning and strategic input across the business. This is a commercial strategy role sitting within Marketing Strategy. It is a team of three that works very closely with the CMO, and other senior managers up to and including the CEO.
The Marketing department is a key driver of the brand's business and operates both globally and locally. The Marketing Strategy team has a key influencing role across all elements of the team, including planning, budgets, future vision and thought leadership.
This is a critical influencer role with a wide-ranging remit and a very senior stakeholder group. It is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their career in a business that is growing and investing for the future.

The successful candidate is likely to have most or all of the following:
A logical and systematic approach to solving analytical tasks
An understanding of marketing strategy and theory (eg, classical marketing, value proposition, segmentation with either a large corporate background or exposure at least
Confidence to make evidence-based recommendations to senior management
Willingness to edit large volumes of information to present only the key elements to senior management (it is not always obvious which elements are "key")
Ability to debate in a constructive way with peers and senior management
Very strong communication and presentation skills
An ability to work independently
5-7 years' experience in strategy or agency is an advantage
