We are working with an expert professional services business, a respected company who have strong core values and beliefs. Our client is looking to recruit an experienced HR Senior who is CIPD qualified for a challenging role offering an excellent opportunity to make a significant and valued contribution to the organisation.
Purpose of Role: provide a proactive and professional support service to the Head of HR by actively supporting the Firms management and staff on all aspects of HR.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Provide professional support and expert advice to management and staff on HR policies and procedures, performance management, and employee relations
Ø Influence management around the people agenda to maximise performance
Ø Identify HR priorities from Firm, departmental and team plans translating into effective HR practices to deliver people solutions aligned to the Firms business objectives
Ø Manage and co-ordinate critical HR recruitment processes through to effective on-boarding process
Ø Oversee all leaver processes and ensure personnel records are archived within the Firms GDPR guidelines
Ø Liaise and partner closely with payroll bureau to ensure changes are effected properly and in line with payroll deadlines
Ø Provide support with all salary benchmarking activity, pay reviews and bonus payments
Ø Deal with all benefits-related queries promptly and efficiently; assisting with the administration of auto-enrolment etc.,
Ø Take ownership of and provide support on complex HR projects
Ø Provide administrative support for in-house training initiatives
Ø Ensure all internal and external reporting requirements are satisfied in line with the Firms and statutory guidelines
Ø Provide administrative support to the Head of HR e.g. provide note-taking at disciplinary or grievance meetings, ensure CRB disclosures are processed correctly, oversee and take responsibility for completion of CQS paperwork, calculate part-time holiday entitlement
Ø Manage temps on day to day basis and take responsibility for budget
Ø Maintain HR profile and visibility across all offices
Ø Effectively oversee receptions firm-wide to ensure consistency in delivery of client service. Conduct performance reviews on 1:1 or in conjunction with relevant Supervisor

Qualifications/Experience: Fast-paced, professional services background
Must be strategic
Graduate level and CIPD Level 7 minimum Minimum three years at HR Adviser level
Driver with own car to visit multiple offices Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to win hearts and minds
Ability to work autonomously as a self-starter
Thorough knowledge of employment law and current legislation
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Good understanding of MS Office and HR information systems
