Senior Application Manager, Marketing Business Development Operations

We are recruiting a Senior Application Manager in the Marketing & Business Development (Marketing & BD) team to be the lead business representative responsible for defining the functionality and processes associated with the technologies supporting the Marketing & BD function. The role holder will be the key link between the business area and IT, and will assist in the development of tools, processes, and frameworks to further best practices and deliver operational efficiencies as well as monitoring and providing quality assurance across existing marketing applications. The ideal candidate has a technical mind-set with an analytical approach, process analysis experience and has worked within a formal project management framework. Experience of working in a fast paced, complex global environment with multiple regulatory requirements is a distinct advantage.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for providing business related, front end application support and administration for systems owned within the Marketing & BD technology portfolio.
Represent Marketing & BD on cross business technology related projects such as digital transformation.
Represent Marketing & BD as a key stakeholder across all horizontal business applications, advising on their use and future development within the context of Marketing & BD.
Be a key contributor to the marketing systems future roadmap.
Be "hands on" with Marketing related business applications to carry out front end testing, implementation, administration and monitoring of solutions to achieve desired business outcomes while applying best practices.
Work closely with relevant teams to ensure cross systems data integrity and compliance.
Collaborate with a globally distributed Marketing department across all time zones from Melbourne through to San Diego.
Establish and maintain documentation and training materials for Marketing & BD systems and user processes; provide general and specialized training/enablement to new and existing users of our Marketing tools and technologies.
Help to support reporting mechanisms and creation of holistic dashboards to monitor performance of Marketing & BD Return On Investment.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Experience of front end implementation and support of Marketing & BD systems in a specialist technical capacity within a professional services environment is highly desired.
Systems currently in use include InterAction (CRM), Vuture (e-broadcast platform) marketing document repositories (Worksite), automated pitch and proposal generation. Future roadmap includes Ticketing, Workflow and Digital Asset Management solutions. Experience of working with vendors and solutions in these spaces is highly desired.
Experience of formal systems and process analysis techniques and project management frameworks is desirable.
Proven track record of working on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Experience deploying, analyzing, and iterating on complex processes across International and global organisations is required.
Must be able to work equally well on own initiative as well as part of a wider team; collaborative working style.
Must be a strong communicator able to articulate and translate complex technical solutions into business language in order to inform and influence a business audience.
Must be pro-active and solutions driven.
