We are actively looking for a VP of Sales for our annuity sales area. This position is responsible for actively recruiting distribution groups and individual financial professionals. The VP of Sales promotes, markets and educates financial professionals and key distribution groups on our company value adds and carrier products and services.. The Role. Identify and develop relationships with financial professionals and recruit them to Brokers International.. Build and maintain relationships with financial professionals, keeping them informed of carrier promotions, product changes and enhancements.. Assist with any questions or problems financial professionals may have.. Attend meetings, workshops and seminars to recruit and retain financial professionals.. Possess a strong knowledge and understanding of various carrier products and creative ways to market these products, and provide case design.. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities. Must demonstrate our Core Values. Action oriented - dynamic self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and drive. Excellent listening and probing skills. Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.. Must be able to handle customer interactions with confidence and tact.. Effective use methods to accomplish more in less time.. Ability to prioritize.. Education and/or Experience. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or 5 years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.. Experience in the sales and marketing of Life, Annuities with a proven successful track record. Sales experience to financial advisors a plus.. Travel. Up to 20%, valid driver's license is required..
