Product Owner - Dundee
Change Digital Recruitment is recruiting a Product Owner on behalf of a multinational grocery and general merchandise retailer. This organisation has a huge UK presence and operate stores in the UK and Europe. The position of Product Owner is responsible for supporting transformational activities that take place at their contact centre in Dundee. As a Product Owner you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in the design and delivery of sites, tools, forms, and applications.
The role is based in Dundee although the organisation does work in a hybrid way and are happy for candidates to work from home, although they will be required to attend the office location 1-2 days per week.
Leading a team of developers in the delivery of solutions
Maintaining a working knowledge of development best practices for SharePoint and Web based applications
Defining the technical approach to ensure solutions and improvements are delivered effectively and on time
Working with stakeholders to formulate a vision and strategy for knowledge & engagement solutions
Being an ambassador for change, embracing change and positively influence others to do the same
Experience and skills
Ideally having a strong technical background in developing SharePoint based web solutions
Highly organised and solution focused with the ability to proactively solve problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand technical issues and translate them effectively to stakeholders and colleagues
Have a strategic approach with the ability to look ahead, maintaining roadmaps and providing solutions to meet deadlines
Previous experience of team leadership in the development of complex solutions would be advantageous
Experience leading development teams in the development of complex solutions.
Experience designing, developing and delivering CMS or Web based applications
