TSYS Managed Services EMEA (TMS) are currently recruiting for Customer Service Specialists to join our Credit Services team in Caldecotte, Milton. You'll communicate with customers about issues with their credit card payments, using your skills and initiative to negotiate a suitable resolution. You'll need to be empathetic and a good listener, and you'll get a great sense of satisfaction from knowing you've made a difference to a customer by helping them take the first step towards resolving their financial issues.

You will join us on a full time, permanent basis working Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday mornings.

Main Responsibilities

Inbound and Outbound calls dealing with queries from customers who may be over their credit limits, missing payments and in financial difficulty.

Completing and processing payment plans.

Setting up direct debits.

Processing debit card payments.

Building and maintaining customer relationships.

Complaint handling including resolving and logging of complaints as well as escalating to the appropriate teams where necessary.

Keeping up to date with policy changes through the use of internal systems and training.

Adhering to FCA/Lending standards board guidelines.

Raising and potential problems with management and the appropriate teams.

What we are looking for in the Ideal Candidate

Previous experience within a customer focused role over the phone or face to face

Excellent listening skills

A patient and a calm demeanor

Experience dealing with difficult customers

The ability to be empathetic when needed

Polite and clear verbal communication skills

Exceptional overall communication skills

Good IT and Computer skills

An enthusiastic work ethic

The ability to work as part of a team
