This does mean you will need to relocate.
* You will perform detailed assembly and disassembly of foreign and domestic small arms weapons including small arms inspection, maintenance, and minor repairs.
We are hoping this will be a long-term contract for you, made up of 6 month rolling contracts.
We expect to have this contract with our client for several years to come and these positions in Germany pay competitively weekly. Working weeks are 48 hours of work Monday to Friday.
We can help you find accommodation if you need help and though you pay for it there is a Cost of Living Allowance of about £70 on top of your pay that will be paid to you each week that you are in Germany.
Accommodation is typically shared apartments, but costs can vary depending on when you start and what is available at that time. We also contribute £200 towards your initial travel costs if you're travelling from outside of Germany. Finally, we offer a referral fee of £150 if we take on someone new who has been recommended by you and has referenced you in their initial email communication with us. You will receive Training throughout the contract to learn new equipment and there is chance for promotions internally.
You are entitled to 24 days holiday plus German bank holidays so long as they fall on a working weekday.
We have over 300 Brits on this contract in Mannheim and Dulmen and most of our personnel drive to Germany so that they have a way to get to and from work each day - if you don't intend to drive, we would need to know asap as it might cause some problems that we need to address beforehand.
Is this of interest, if so please apply but if you have any questions in the meantime, please let me know.
