Our client based in Poole are looking for a Payroll Officer to join their busy Accounts team to process payroll for up to 350 employees on a temp to perm basis.
If you have experience in a similar role and have knowledge of processing payroll with intermediate or advanced excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUPS and formulas then please apply!
As our Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for processing the monthly payroll ensuring that all employees are paid correctly and on time.
Your duties will include processing timesheets, expenses and calculating sick pay, whilst dealing with payroll queries from managers and employees. As part of the role you will liaise with both internal customers and external agencies.
Salary: £22,308 - £24,472.
Hours: Monday - Friday - 9am - 5pm, 30 minutes lunch.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Extensive experience of managing and processing payroll and benefits.
• Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation.
• Excellent organisation, mathematical skills and a trained eye for attention and accuracy.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Excel (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables) and Word.
