About the team you'll be working in:

Data Management are responsible for administering all product details in SAP to support the lifecycle of newspapers and magazines; taking in the publisher information on barcodes, price, on sale and claims periods, retail and wholesale margin. The team support internal and external stakeholders, dealing with publishers, warehouse teams and industry bodies. The team also co-ordinate other services, including the redemption of 70 million vouchers a year.

What you'll be doing:

We are looking for a Master Data Administrator to join our team in Swindon to manage a range of newspaper and magazine accounts, responsible for all the master data in SAP. You will be trained up on SAP and business process to become a subject matter expert on your publishers. Also including:

• Creating all new titles and amending existing titles
• Creating all multivariate to ensure retailer commitments are met
• Ensure the processing into the article master of publishers electronic issue files to meet agreed criteria
• Create and use web intelligence reports to validate publisher data to our article master data
• Resolve any article master queries raised by other departments, Sales Centre and Publishers relating to their portfolio within agree timescales
• Support the Magazine and Newspaper Business Managers to meet all their publishers issue data requirements

About you:

• Good communication skills, both verbally and written
• Ability to work accurately under pressure to achieve strict deadlines
• Good level of IT literacy ideally using SAP, Excel and Word
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload effectively
• Have confidence to use own initiative and problem solve but remain considerate of potential impacts
• Be a self-motivated, team player with the ability to build professional relationships with internal and external parties
