Strategically partnering the Directors and their leadership team, you will help to form and drive the end-to-end people agenda across a colleague group encompassing c.700FTE across commercial (Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT), operations and engineering, aligning to the broader group strategy that is supporting the business expansion.
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will welcome the opportunity to 'role model' strategic HR Business Partnering to the broader team, help colleagues transition to the new operating model, as they embed and enhance the Ulrich HR model.
To succeed in this role you will be a proven business partner with a passion for understanding and "getting under the skin" of a business, effectively sharpening the skills of a leadership team through well placed HR interventions. Recognised for your agility of thought and open mind set, you will offer generalist HR capability and you will provide expertise and support for the full scope of the HR function, drawing on your colleagues across centres of excellence/shared services when necessary.
We are looking for an individual who is a "go-getter" someone who is not afraid to push open doors to get their voice heard and it's likely you will have honed this experience within a white and blue collar environment. You will be responsible for driving the growth objectives for your client group by playing the role of a credible, visible, value added business partner. The ideal candidate will build and lead a performance culture focused on talent development, creating an organization with world class functional skills and business expertise.
Based in Crewe, you will be keen to maintain visibility with your client group and can therefore expect to travel circa 1-2 days a week to other key sites (e.g. Manchester, Hull, Worcester) with a day a week working from home.
