This Development Solution Lead role pays between £80,000 - £100,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Remote position based in UK

If you live and breathe Cloud Strategy, Architectures, Data Centre to Cloud migrations, the 6R's, Automation and establishing Landing Zone patterns, we want to talk to you.

We are looking for someone who can talk with authority around cloud and who is passionate about helping organisations create major shifts in their business through the use of native cloud platforms with an application focus. You should have a background in helping customers with Managed Services aligned to cloud hosted application modernisation solutions. You will be motivated to build customer relationships at C level around some of the most innovative Google technologies, and be excited by a job partnering with some of the best minds in technology.

You should have great communication skills, the ability to develop content and ideally present concepts across the portfolio. This role will suit someone with a foundation in architecture looking to develop a broad understanding of enterprise IT services, technologies and solutions with a key focus on the latest Google Cloud technologies.

Role Summary

This Development Solution Lead will help build a portfolio of solutions and services in conjunction with other practice areas and provide portfolio sales support to contribute towards the successful conversion of prospects to customers. Developing a broad set of solution content, engaging with various teams to spot trends, opportunities and refining content to ensure it is targeting the right outcomes.

Responsibilities of the Development Solution Lead include:

  • Developing go-to-market customer stories that link capabilities to business outcomes, you will also be working with some of the brightest minds at Appsbroker and Google to develop new go-to-market propositions
  • Development of offering collateral working with customer, sales, and delivery teams
  • Work to develop cutting edge cloud solutions with Google Cloud
  • Helping in the creation of a portfolio of custom-made products, repeatable sales offerings and processes to accelerate go to market
  • Develop and execute Go-To-Market Strategy for Cloud-focused workloads
  • Develop a compelling Solution and Services strategy and develop propositions that leverage industry experience
  • Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team
  • Provide strategic feedback to Appsbroker and Google product development teams
  • Work closely with delivery teams to drive innovation in our offerings, ensure offerings are optimised based on delivery, presales and customer feedback
  • Be required to generate proposals built and focused around identified business needs
  • Understand the technical, financial, organisational requirements/constraints of enterprise customers
  • Create blog posts and white papers to promote our brand and help cement our position as a leader in the field.
  • Deliver presentations internally and externally regarding the Cloud platform propositions
  • Produce supporting pre-sales collateral; Demos, blogs, lunch and learns, case studies etc


  • Substantial experience in the complex aspects of Platform Engineering, covering elements such as: Cloud migration Consulting, Application migration, Infrastructure Migration to Cloud, Cloud to cloud infrastructure migration, Cloud landing zones, frameworks and others
  • Technical experience in cloud data technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), and other platform related tooling (terraform, ansible, chef, packer, git etc )
  • The gravitas to engage effectively with C-level stakeholders
  • Proven track record in building and selling compelling propositions
  • Extensive and strong business acumen with an ability to quickly understand market trends
  • Broad understanding of customer needs; business cases and how customers justify analytic spend financially
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise IT clients such as retail, manufacturing, media, fintech, insuretech and telecoms
  • Ability to be comfortable in an agile environment, having worked with agile focused developers, BAs and data engineers
