Area Programme Manager
Location: Plymouth, Paignton (with an option to work two days a week from home)
Salary: £36,500 to £38,500 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Summary of role: The Area Programme Manager (APM), reporting to the Operational Delivery Manager, will take the lead in ensuring the highest quality of project delivery and partnership relationship management across the defined geographical operating area of Devon and Cornwall. The APM will support the preparation and delivery of the charity's business plan, working with Directors and Managers to ensure that its overall strategy, objectives, thematic areas, operational plans and outcomes are realised.
The APM will lead on the co-ordination and management of resources and will oversee the implementation of the Trust's activities across three business areas:
• Youth, Employment & Skills
• Communities & Land
• Environmental Services (with the support the from thematic lead for Green Doctor)
This will involve the development, planning, monitoring, financial management and delivery of projects, programmes of work, and activities. The APM will provide support and leadership to delivery staff to ensure that the operations as set out in the charity Business Plan are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
