As the Technical Customer Support Consultant you will assist the Customer Service Manager in providing technical support. Mainly supporting our customer base by responding to technical queries, processing returns, arranging carrier collections and managing the customer query email in box. This is a front of business customer contact role with the emphasis on providing 1st class customer service.
Based within our internal sales support and customer service office, the main requirements of the role will be as follows:
Be responsible for customer technical enquiries in conjunction with Quality, Faults, Installation and pre sales in support to the Customer Service Manager.
Record customer technical requests and update product information
Manage customer returns administration including:
Generating returns documentation
Requesting carrier collection
Monitor and update customer returns information received/not received
Familiarisation of current product range including:
Understanding of in house manufacturing processes and UK built product range
Understanding of testing operation and product labelling requirements
Assist in the investigation and return of faulty/reject historical product to stock
Customer service support, answering customer queries, on the telephone and by e-mail in a polite and professional manner
Assist the Quality Manager with product investigations.
Other miscellaneous duties as requested to support the smooth running of the business
To be successful for the Technical Customer Support Consultant role you will have excellent communication skills with the confidence and composure to deal directly with customers in satisfying product technical issues. The person should be organised, possess a practical mind set with an eye for detail, IT literate and be able to demonstrate a particular passion for delivering the highest possible level of customer service on a high quality and expanding product range. Full training will be given.
