Interaction Recruitment is currently working with a client based in the historic town of Newmarket who is recruiting for a Chef de Partie for their operation. This is a very unique position that offers good work/home life balance and the opportunity to develop the business to new heights.
My Client is a central restaurant, offering a Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner service. There is a varied footfall of customers as well as their loyal regular customers and conference and banqueting delegates.
The ideal Chef de Partie or CDP will be able to work independently and be self-sufficient, as well as be able to manage their own time, adhering to safe practices at all times and deliver consistent and high-quality work. The ideal CDP will have experience within their craft and should be able to demonstrate true passion towards their work.
Work with the Head Chef, the team and Management to push the branding of the business forwards, assisting where required with stock management and safe working practices.
Be fully compliant to all Food Hygiene legislation.
Breakfast, Lunch and Event Preparation and Service.
Assist the Head Chef to Develop menu's
To maintain a high level of food presentation and preparation across all the sections.
Assist in the development and delivery of banqueting events.
To ensure good stock management practices, taking sole responsibility for the stock within their kitchen.
To act on any reasonable requests.
To act on any reasonable requests by the shift leaders.
Love what they do on a daily basis and show complete enthusiasm for their role in the Kitchen.
Successful candidates must obtain a valid Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene Certification before the start date and ideally hold an Allergen Awareness Certificate. NVQ's in professional cookery is also desirable but not required.
