Your new company
This organisation are one of the world's leading health institutes, and are directly linked with the Department of Health. Their main function is to protect and improve the nation's health, with core focuses on improving global health security, responding to international disease outbreaks and building health capacities in low and middle income countries. This role will be based in Colindale.
Your new role
Your primary duties will include managing the Occupational Health database system and medical files. Typing on general correspondence, emails, answering the telephone and making appointments will be integral elements of this position. You will also be assisting the Occupational Health Advisors in facilitating the provision of high quality Occupation Health care to the staff of the organisation. You must have strong communication skills as you will be liaising with managers, staff, hospitals and GP surgeries. Additionally, you will be required to coordinate referrals, review all incoming mail, and organise the physicians and advisors appointment diaries.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be capable of multitasking, and be able to prioritise tasks. You should be flexible and adaptable to different situations as you will be required to carry out ad hoc duties requested by the line managers. Previous healthcare experience is essential, as well as previous experience in administrative positions.
