Premier gift sales organization with showrooms in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, Minneapolis and Seattle has an opportunity in our San Francisco/San Jose territory. This is a newly created position due to our continued growth in this territory.
Anne McGilvray & Company was established in 1975 and with coverage of forty-two states, is one of the largest sales organizations in the gift industry. Anne McGilvray & Company was one of four finalists in the Retailer Excellence Award (REA) Century Awards and recognized for Anne McGilvray's influence in the gift industry.
We are seeking entrepreneurial, self-motivated individuals to call on a well-established base of quality specialty retailers throughout the San Francisco/San Jose area. While a customer list is provided by Anne McGilvray & Company, sales reps are responsible for not only maintaining and growing existing accounts but seeking and opening new accounts as well. You must be a hunter and a gatherer.
The ideal candidate must be able to communicate clearly with vendors and retailers, both in person and in written communications. Basic computer skills necessary, as Anne McGilvray and Company utilizes state of the art software for order processing.
Products represented include gifts, stationery, home accessories, books & toys and are among some of the top lines in the gift industry. Professional sales experience in related products a plus. We offer a performance-based advance during the first 6 months of this commission-only position. Benefits available (401k, healthcare and a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Training provided.
