Vice President Sales amp Customer Service Location Cincinnati, OH, United States Posted on Dec 28,2018 Apply for this job your email: upload resume: Profile Provides a single point of contact and control for all internal and external matters relating to the sales, marketing and customer service activities for assigned markets. Provides guidance and direction to the business unit that use these resources to accomplish the business objectives. Directs Components sales and customer service team objectives and strategies in conjunction with business unit members. Contributes to the strategic planning process for the businesses (including appropriate operating plans), focusing on sales and marketing as they relate to achieving short and long term business objectives. Owns the overall sales strategic planning process for the Components business. Sets targets of performance for all sales, marketing and customer service activities, including measures related to cost, quality, time and prospects. Reports on the progress of all sales and marketing activities to pre-set targets including capture plan development and internal sales operations. Develops and measures transactional sales pipeline and provides direction on the allocation of the sales force (including agents) and other resources to execute on sales opportunities. Participates in the evaluation of the business unit's performance to sales and strategic targets, including monthly accountability reviews. Provides leadership, guidance and learning opportunities to assigned sales and marketing teams, as well as works closely with VP/GM to ensure consistency regarding customer relationship philosophies and service levels. Oversees and promotes transactional customer relationship management including customer contact plans, key messages, customer qualification activities and CRM data integrity. Formulates new and progressive marketing concepts to establish the business unit as a leader in a global marketplace. Maintains and constantly improves the business unit's competitive position in the marketplace. Provides general direction and advice to the relevant SVPs, VPs and other sector teams on matters pertaining to new sales prospect opportunities. Develops and manages new business development opportunities. Also, owns the Long Term Agreement process. Plans, initiates and directs market research and analysis to determine trends, industry needs and customer preferences; optimizes product and facilities planning to develop targeted markets; recommends pricing policies. Directs the development and implementation of advertisement and promotional programs with central marketing. Oversees the co-ordination of business unit participation at trades shows, seminars, advertising and other such marketing and sales events. Accompanies sales representatives on significant sales and marketing calls. Promotes the business unit's continuous improvement program by encouraging and supporting the initiation and completion of short term projects aimed at improving process performance. Exercises authority in hiring, training, career development, performance appraisal, salary adjustments, promotion, discipline, health, safety, and the general employee relations of direct and functional reports. Actively participates in the appropriate management team(s), assisting with the development and realization of strategic, marketing and capture plans, budgets, goals and outcomes. Performs individual assignments as assigned.
