Our client are a young, exciting tech company based in Cambridge who are looking for a n enthusiastic, motivated self-starter to support the HR department, including the office environment, in its primary and administrative duties. This role has been created for someone to support the overall business strategy for the company and to support the business with its day to day administrative requirements. This role is an important feature for the smooth running of the everyday operations within the business and the attainment of its goals, as well as the long-term growth of the company. This role offers a varied workload with the opportunity to support events, awards, team culture and lots more.

Duties to include:

Manage internal events calendar, requirements, planning and support. Support the business with administration requirements including team diary management, meeting room and hospitality organisation. Ensuring all visitors are register at security and offering a warm welcome to all visitors on arrival. Contribute to the culture and exciting atmosphere of a rapidly growing technology business. Support different functions within the business by helping with additional administration support and ad hoc requirements Support the HR Manager with new starter set up, onboarding and the employee life cycle as a whole. Support the HR Manager with everyday office requirements, including stationary, stocking the team fridge, office furniture, post collection and delivery, ensuring the office is kept in clean conditions while being mindful of Health and Safety requirements amongst staff. Support the HR department with recruitment, interview arrangements and candidate support


Experience within an office environment, strong organisational skills with customer orientated approach. Experience with event organisation beneficial but not essential, previous experience with diary management, Excellent knowledge of MS Office packages including Outlook. Exceptional communication and people skills with an ability to work with little supervision and as part of a team. Can do attitude with the desire to learn and grow, self-starter, enthusiastic and able to deal with confidential information
