To answer all internal and external calls in a timely and efficient manner, directing to the relevant department, taking messages when needed and being mindful of confidentiality

To liaise with catering staff for meeting requirements, lunches and communicating any changes for the office staff in this and all other areas

Client Details

My client is a global manager of popular and alternative investment products for both private and international clients, with offices all over the world. They are looking to being on board a full-time Receptionist to act as the front of house Representative for the company in the London based office.


The key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring reception is covered at all times
  • Greeting guests and visitors in an appropriate manner and log visitors in Excel
  • Ensuring guests are taken to meeting rooms and offering refreshments
  • Book taxis and cars when and where needed
  • Check all meeting rooms to ensure a high standard of presentation is maintained, contacting the necessary personnel to resolve any issues
  • Ensure the reception area and meeting rooms are kept to a high standard


The successful candidate will require:

  • MS office IT skills
  • Relevant experience within a financial services environment
  • Prior experience working as a receptionist within an investment or private equity firm
  • Expert customer service skills
  • Ability to react well under pressure
  • Excellent and efficient use of a switchboard or telephone systems

Job Offer

The successful receptionist will be based in the London office, paid between £28,000 and £30,000 depending on experience and be given additional benefits.
