2nd Line Support Technician (Intune)

Settle (North Yorkshire)

Salary Contract 180-day rate

2nd line support technician, required to join a fantastic independent schools IT department, you will be managing all aspects of the school's infrastructure and working on, Microsoft end point manager (Intune).

Some of what you will be doing:

  • Maintaining and supporting the IT Helpdesk, and supporting the school's infrastructure
  • Providing 1st and 2nd Line Support
  • Supporting end users with all manner of IT Support requests; from email to accessing Wi-Fi
  • Supporting both end users and school hardware and endpoint devices
  • Supporting staff to make use of the IT systems either over the phone or desk-side
  • Prioritising workloads to maintain service levels and service KPI's within a structured service framework
  • Monitoring systems that support the School's cyber protection and ensuring the threat landscape is monitored

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:

  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Basic understanding of Hyper-V, desktop applications and associated hardware
  • Experience with windows Servers
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
  • Experience with networking, switching, Firewalls, WAN, VLAN
  • Active Directory
