The Society for Experimental Biology is an international membership organisation for those studying, practicing or with an interest in all areas of Experimental Biology. It aims to promote and increase the influence of Experimental Biology and foster cross disciplinary connections within the scientific community. The Society encompasses Animal, Plant, Cell Biology and Education and the events programme serves the needs of all four sectors.
The Operations & Office Manager is a pivotal support role for the Society ensuring that the essential processes (managing daily finance matters, IT and Information systems health and safety, facilities and buildings administration) that support the outputs of the Society run smoothly. The incumbent will be tasked with improving existing management systems and establishing essential processes in response to developments across the Society.
